In the current weather of rising Street Fighter stars, players like Sim “NL” Gun, Cristopher “Caba” Rodriguez, and EVO champion Benjamin “Problem X” Simon are taking over the scene. In the last two events Tokido attended, he did not finish in the top eight. Knowing his constant top-eight finishes in prior events, recent showings were uncharacteristic for Tokido. Going into the event, Tokido sat in third in the Capcom Cup standings. Calm, cool, and collected, Tokido went into the battlefield with one thing in mind — win Tokyo Game Show.

The latest iteration of the “Marvel vs.” series released on September 19th with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Unlike Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, MvC:I features 2v2 combat, akin to Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. New changes include the implementation of Infinity Stones. There are six Infinite Stones in the game, each one granting the player different abilities and buffs. These range from an increase to attack damage to adding elemental damage with each attack. Other changes include the replacement of the assist method. A new system called “Active Switch” replaces the assist method, calling in and giving you full control of your second character while your first character completes a maneuver before backing away. Current Echo Fox player and former EVO Champion in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Justin Wong gives us his thoughts about MvC:I.
