PAX IS COMING
— PAX Badges (@PAX_Badges) May 31, 2018
PAX West will take place from August 31 to September 3, 2018 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. Like previous years at PAX West, the expo will span across 8 buildings at Downtown Seattle, including the Paramount Theatre and Benaroya Hall — former home of The International tournament (Dota 2).
“PAX West is where it all started, so whenever we have a chance to invite people into our home it’s just a good feeling,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. “Purely as a word advice, I would briefly minimize this window and try to get tickets as soon as you can. They tend to go fast.”
In addition to attendees getting their hands on the hottest upcoming titles, the expo includes autograph signings with the most popular streamers and influencers from YouTube and Twitch. The expo also includes live tournaments with the hottest names in esports, panels with industry leaders, free console, tabletop, and PC play areas, and more.

Writer’s note: At the time of this writing, only Monday badges are available. If past trends still occur, tickets from Friday to Sunday will come and go if people decide to return tickets.
Also, reserving a hotel is less stressful and less of an issue than other conventions like Comic-Con and Blizzcon. BOOK FAST!
