Following their recent success at the Overwatch League, the Los Angeles Valiant’s brand continues to grow. During Stage 3 of the League, the Valiant significantly improved from their Stage 2 performance earning them a place in the Stage 3 playoffs. Although things did not swing in their favor against the New York Excelsior, their performance in Stage 3 was admirable. With this recent success, the Valiant earned partnerships with Lionsgate and Microsoft. After their win against the Seoul Dynasty this week, the Valiant managed to negotiate another partnership with Razer.
In a press release from the Los Angeles Valiant, it is stated that Razer will be the exclusive peripherals partner for the LA Valiant meaning the team will now sport Razer gear in their games moving forward.
Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan commented:
“Team Razer is committed to fostering a roster of passionate and truly ambitious esports players. Immortals and LA Valiant exude a caliber of excellence that makes our partnership with them a natural fit, and one that we are very excited to support.”
Immortals and Los Angeles Valiant CEO Noah Whinston also commented about their recent partnership with Razer:
“Razer has long established its bona fides as a true lifestyle brand across gaming and esports. We’re very excited to embark on the journey with Razer to field test its peripherals line and new mobile gaming phone for both peak gaming performance and in everyday life.”
Razer already sponsors the Seoul Dynasty and other popular esports teams such as SK Telecom T1, Gen.G esports (formerly KSV ESports), 100 Thieves, and SK Gaming. The Los Angeles Valiant is currently placed at 4th place in the overall standings.
A partnership between the Valiant and Razer will lead to greater things for the organization and their players.
